BEFORE YOU SIT DOWN
Show them the photo. We do the rest.
Photograph the look you want. Stylebrief tells you whether it works on your hair, then turns it into the lengths, guard numbers and tone codes your stylist actually works from. About thirty seconds.
FREE TO TRY · NO CARD · YOU FIND OUT IN THE MIRROR, WHEN IT IS ALREADY CUT.

Drag it. The photo becomes a brief.

The five minutes that decide it
Everything is settled before the scissors move. Today that conversation runs on one photo and a lot of hoping. This is the part Stylebrief is built for.
HOW IT WORKS
From a saved photo to a real brief
No hairdressing vocabulary to learn, no hoping they understood, no finding out in the mirror.
Photograph your hair
One photo of the hair you actually have. Length, density, curl pattern and hairline.
Add the look you want
Upload the photo you have been saving for months, or pick from styles.
Take the brief to the chair
Lengths, elevation, guard numbers and tone codes. Show it, or send it ahead.
WHAT YOU GET
A photo is not a haircut.
Every look comes back with whether it works on your hair, and exactly what to ask for.

A brief, not a mood board
One sheet in the language your stylist already uses, cut and colour in separate sections. Show it on the screen, send it ahead, or hold up a code at the chair.
The honest answer, first

WHAT YOU GET
A photo is not a haircut.
Every look comes back with whether it works on your hair, and exactly what to ask for.
Bring your worst haircut
Upload the one that went wrong. Stylebrief shows what the brief should have said, which is usually one line you never knew to ask for.

Your photo, written out
Lengths in centimetres, layer elevation in degrees, fringe, finish, and tone with developer volume. The line the whole product rests on: you do not have to know these words, so we write them.

Every other hair app stops at the picture.

WHY WE BUILT IT
The industry already knows where it breaks
The most common client complaint is leaving with something completely different from what was wanted.
Showing a stylist a photo and saying 'I want this' creates immediate ambiguity. It is unclear what specifically you want, the length, texture, or colour tone.
Confirm the length on top, height of the fade, shape of the line-up and finish of the hairline before starting.

Questions, answered
Is it really free?
Trying looks on stays free, and so does one brief a month. That covers the normal six to ten week cycle for most people. You pay only if you want more than that.
I do not want to tell my stylist how to do their job.
You are not. You are handing over a clear description of what you want, in the words they already use. You do not have to know those words. That is why we write them.
How exact are the numbers?
They are a starting point, not a rule. Your stylist adjusts them on your hair, in front of you. The point is that you both start from the same page instead of from a photo.
When do I get access?
Early access opens to a small first group. Join and you get one email the moment your spot opens.

Walking out with what you asked for
Not a transformation, not a reveal. Just the ordinary, unremarkable feeling of having been understood.
Never explain your hair again.
Get your early access. Your answers decide what we build first.
Thank you!
